Beard Mountain Vineyards is a luxury vineyard wedding venue nestled on 170 peaceful acres in Stanardsville, Virginia, where sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views create an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding day. Designed for couples who want a celebration that feels both elevated and deeply personal, our property offers a serene escape surrounded by nature, breathtaking scenery, and the people you love most.

From exchanging vows in our garden ceremony space to celebrating cocktail hour in the boxwood garden and dancing beneath our greenhouse inspired reception tent, every part of the experience is intentionally designed to feel romantic, welcoming, and effortless. Our Scottish-inspired pub-style tasting room, coming in 2027 will add an additional one-of-a-kind gathering space full of charm and character.

Our vineyard venue offers a seamless wedding experience with our breathtaking vineyard, Blue Ridge Mountain views, thoughtfully included amenities, spacious celebration areas, guest conveniences, and curated details designed to make your wedding weekend feel effortless, elevated, and unforgettable. We comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests with tables, chairs, and essential venue furnishings included. For celebrations exceeding 150 guests, please contact us to discuss additional accommodations and custom event options..

WEDDING FAQS

  • Our venue spaces can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for both the ceremony and reception.

  • Yes we do require that you have a Wedding Planner or Wedding Coordinator for your wedding day so you and family can fully be present for your celebration.

  • Yes! We’ve curated a list of trusted vendors who are familiar with our property and align with our high standards for service and hospitality. You're also welcome to bring in your own vendors with approval.

  • Your rental includes all-day access to the property, use of the garden ceremony site, boxwood cocktail garden, greenhouse-style tented reception space, on-site restroom trailers, 150 ceremony & reception chairs and access to the estate grounds for photos. On-site attendants will be present for guest support throughout the day.

  • You have access to the property at 8am -11pm. All events with music must end by 10:00 PM in accordance with county guidelines. The last hour is reserved for your vendors to pack up.

  • For all weddings taking place in Fall 2027 and beyond, any wine served during the event must be purchased through Beard Mountain Vineyards in accordance with our ABC licensing requirements.

    Couples who wish to provide their own beer, cider, or spirits may do so with a valid one-day Virginia ABC banquet license. All alcoholic beverages must be served by a licensed and insured bartender; self-service bars are not permitted.

    Alternatively, couples may work with a caterer or beverage service provider that holds its own ABC license and can supply and manage alcohol service for the event.

  • Yes! Well-behaved pets are welcome to join your celebration with prior approval—especially if they’re part of the ceremony.

  • Yes! We offer special packages for intimate weddings and elopements on select dates. Please reach out for pricing and availability.
